Leap Year Hike (Tyndrum to Kings House)

Leap Year Hike

Marie stayed behind in Tyndrum but Marlies continued with me onwards from Tyndrum to the Bridge of Orchy and Loch Tulla and onwards through snow over a corner of the Rannoch Moor before we finally arrived at the Kings House in Glencoe Valley.

February 28th, 2016

On the gate a sign says
Pretty longhorned sheep looking at us as we walk past them in the early morning.
The path towards Inveroran after passing Bridge of Orchy
Glen Tulla (or whatever its name is)
Icy water sitting around on the Rannoch Moor
The far end of Loch Tulla
View towards the mountains while crossing the Rannoch Moor
View out over the Rannoch Moor
Marlies walking up towards the highest point of the day just before we reach Glencoe valley
Walking down to Glencoe valley with the very characteristic Etive Mor straight ahead
The view towards Etive Mor from the Kings House
The same view decorated with one of the wild deer keeping close to the Kings House
Glencoe Valley is a gorgeous place
A last shot of that same view of Etive Mor just because I couldn't get enough of it
