Cusco

Images from Peru

I arrived in Cusco early in the morning together with Claire who had been hitch hiking with me from Santiago. The sea of tourists swarming the streets was a big difference from the past week and it took me a while to readjust. While going for a walk to get away from the city center, I inadvertently bumped in to an Inca temple, Sacsayhuaman (pronounced like 'sexy woman'), where I spent a while taking photos of the stonework. The photos are mainly from my visit to this temple, as well as a few details from doors and walls around Cusco.

Another example of the same type of decorations.
