An evening tour

Winter holiday on Greenland

The beautiful afternoon weather forced me to venture outside to take a look at the south eastern parts of the Kulusuk Island.

February 16th, 2013


Glowing snow. It looks innocent but many days of wind had made the surface hard slippery and I was fairly worried about slipping and ending up in the ocean.
The sky reflected in the ice on the water as the sun sets.
The smooth surface of ice had come over the last few days because of the exceptional still weather.
Snow hanging out over the cliff.
Ice covered water.
The rock is covered in a thin layer of ice reflecting the last rays of the setting sun.
The mountains shine pink as I head home.
